	Peaks & Paws Where: Squaw Valley When: August 23 Peaks and Paws features a full day of pet-friendly elements, activities, live music, and fun. Find the best regional bluegrass/Americana bands around on two stages, an incredible variety of animal themed vendors, wine tasting from California’s best boutique wineries and microbrews. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe. More Information
	Lake Tahoe Triathlon Where: Sugar Pine Point State Park When: August 23rd & 24th The Lake Tahoe Triathlon occurs annually at Sugar Pine Point State Park on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Choose from the Duathlon, Sprint Triathlon, Olympic Triathlon and Half Triathlon all while taking in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. More Information
	Truckee Championship Rodeo Where: McIver Arena (near Regional Park) When: August 23rd & 24th Celebrating its 40th year, The Truckee Championship Rodeo draws cowboys and spectators from all over the Western United States. This is a fantastic event for the whole family to enjoy with many children’s activities including Mutton Bustin, complimentary hot dogs, and more! More Information
	25th Annual Foam Fest Where: Squaw Valley When: August 30th Beer enthusiasts unite! This annual event features 50 craft beers, live music, and lots of fun. Get unlimited beer tasting with entry.  All proceeds go to Disabled Sports Far West. More Information
	26th Annual Alpen Wine Fest Where: Squaw Valley When: August 31st Wine lovers can enjoy an early fall in the Sierra at the 26th Annual Alpen Wine Festival. For a $40 donation, guests can enjoy wine from more than 40 Northern California vineyards. Live acts will perform on two different stages to accompany the festival. More Information
	29th Annual Lake Tahoe Autumn Food & Wine Festival Where: Northstar California When: September 5th – 7th Enjoy three full days of cooking seminars and demonstrations, culinary competitions, wine tastings and more at the 29th Annual Lake Tahoe Autumn Food & Wine Festival in the Village at Northstar! 	North Lake Tahoe Ukulele Festival  Where: Kings Beach State Park When: September 13th Check out the first ever Ukulele Festival on the beachfront of beautiful Lake Tahoe! Enjoy a full day of ukulele bliss with beginners clinics, live music, and shopping in the vendor marketplace. More Information
	IRONMAN Lake Tahoe  Where: Starts at Kings Beach State Park When: September 21st With over 8,000 feet of climbing on the bike course, added to the normal challenge of a 2.4-mile swim, and a marathon run, IRONMAN Lake Tahoe is arguably the world’s toughest course. More Information
	Oktoberfest  Where: Squaw Valley When: September 27th Get in the Oktoberfest spirit at Squaw Valley! Enjoy traditional Bavarian music, folk dancers, a benefit beer garden, brats & kraut, and games from 2 pm -6 pm.  All proceeds go to the Tahoe Truckee Lacrosse Association. $10 admission includes specialty glass and first beer.
