Squaw Valley Scheduled to Close on Sunday April 21st

Due to the lack of snow this winter in the Lake Tahoe region, Squaw Valley has decided to shut down a week early and will close on Sunday, April 21st. This winter started out very promising with over a 100″ of snow at the end of December/start of January but unfortunately the weather fizzled out and Squaw Valley received little snow for the rest of the season. With 2 meager winters in a row in Lake Tahoe, we are all hoping that the winter of 2013/2014 is one for the record books. My fingers are crossed…

Squaw Valley Lift Operations (weather & conditions permitting – subject to change)

April 15-18 – 9am-2pm
Operating Hours: 9am-2pm
Lifts: Funitel, Big Blue, Shirley Lake, Gold Coast and Granite Chief

April 19-21 – 9am-2pm
Operating Hours: 9am-2pm
Lifts: Funitel, Gold Coast, Big Blue, Shirley Lake and Granite Chief for skiing and riding until 2pm

Pool and Hot Tub plus Aerial Tram 11am-4pm Saturday, April 20 ONLY (no operations midweek); first tram up 10:40am, last tram down 4:30pm; bar plus light food available at High Camp on this Saturday

Squaw Valley Season Passholder Appreciation Party

Squaw Valley would like to thank the Tahoe Super Pass Season Passholders! All passholders are invited for the end of the year bash. To conclude the 2012-13 winter Squaw would like you to come on down to the KT Base Bar and celebrate with live music from 12 to 4pm. Squaw will be providing passholders with a delicious lunch and will be holding a raffle with cool prizes like a brand new GoPro!
