In 2012, I helped my clients purchase a beautiful vacant lot on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in the desirable Tahoe Pines subdivision of Homewood, CA. This past weekend, the new owners took delivery of their new modern mountain home which showed up on multiple flatbed trucks and included three modular boxes totaling 60,000 pounds. My client hired Method Homes out of Seattle Washington, the premier builder of modular homes to build their Lake Tahoe dream home and I was fortunate to be able to see the installation of the 3 modular boxes that make up this 2,014 sqft home. Prior to the installation of the modular boxes, my clients hired local contractor Daniel Fraiman Construction (DFC) to facilitate pre-construction and post box setting needs. DFC will handle the finishing phase of construction that will take approximately 1 month to complete. The final phase will include deck construction, interior and exterior stairs, remaining finish carpentry, utility connections, paving, landscape and all remaining finish items.
Updated 01/22/2020: Since the completion of my client’s home in Tahoe Pines, Daniel Fraiman Construction (DFC) has built numerous modular homes and has become one of the premier modular builders in Lake Tahoe and Truckee.
