The 2017 Audi FIS Ski World Cup At Squaw Valley
The 2017 Audi FIS Ski World Cup at Squaw Valley begins this week. It will bring some of the most decorated winter athletes, live music, and amazing celebrations to North Lake Tahoe. There is a lot to take in this weekend and parking and transportation are sure to be a challenge. Here are some tips on how to enjoy the festivities.
GETTING THERE:
There is no doubt that traffic and parking struggles will be one of the main challenges in enjoying the World Cup Events. Luckily, Squaw Valley has put together a host of shuttle options making it so you don’t have to drive at all! If you do need to drive yourself, your best bet is to arrive very early as parking will reach capacity quickly. Squaw will have coffee and breakfast options as early as 6 am.

VIEWING:
Limited VIP tickets are still on sale! Freestanding Room viewing will be available near the finish area as well as skier spectator viewing on looker’s left of Red Dog Face. Live stream viewing will also be available at dining locations in the Village at Squaw Valley including the KT Deck and Rocker@Squaw. Races take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

FESTIVITIES:
Besides watching the World Cup skiers lay it all on the line, Squaw is hosting some pretty awesome festivities to complement the main event. Big name bands such as David Garibaldi, Dustbowl Revival, Sam Chase and the Untraditional, Rusted Roots, and many more will all be playing free shows throughout the weekend. Fireworks will take place on Friday evening and the Vendor Village will be sure to entertain.
