Martis Camp is Lake Tahoe’s premier luxury gated golf course community centrally located in historic Truckee California just minutes from the pristine shores of Lake Tahoe. Last evening I had the pleasure of touring the highly anticipated Camp Lodge at Martis Camp.  The Camp Lodge is nearing completion and getting ready for the grand opening in July and thanks to Martis Camp sales agent Kim Hoopingarner I was able to get a sneak peak of the Lodge and all it has to offer.

The Camp Lodge is an architectural masterpiece that is built on a rock outcropping facing southwest and looking onto the 18th Hole of the world class Tom Fazio Golf Course and the majestic Sierra Crest.  This 50,000 sqft structure is home to the Day Spa, Fitness Studio, Outdoor Vitality and Lap Pools, numerous dining areas and locker rooms and is sure to be the center of fun and entertainment for owners in the private Martis Camp subdivision.

My favorite room in the Club Lodge is the Patchwork Dining Room.  This spectacular room is located in the east toured of the Lodge and features 30 vaulted ceilings that are covered in a beautiful patchwork of cloth creating a fun and whimsical environment to enjoy an evening with the family.  This gorgeous room faces southwest and sits atop the 18th hole and looks out to the Sierra Crest adding to the majestic beauty of this well designed structure.

Fitness Studio

The Martis Camp Lodge has an amazing fitness studio that is filled with the latest and most technologically advanced Cybex Machines and other top tier exercise equipment.  The studio features Elliptical Trainers, Treadmills, Bikes, stretching stations, free weights, and every machine you could imagine to tone your body and get you into the best shape of your life.   Whether you are a fitness fanatic or just trying to get back in shape the fitness studio at Martis Camp will help ensure that you can accomplish whatever your fitness goals are.

Sometimes owners need a little R&R after taking in all Lake Tahoe has to offer and the Camp Lodge has you covered one again at their world class Day Spa.   From the moment you walk into the Spa you will immediately be more peacful due to the soothing color pallet and invigorating aroma therapy that is present in the rejuvenation center.  I didn’t even have a treatment and I felt more calm and peaceful just touring this state of the art facility.  The Spa offers numerous treatment rooms where you can receive massage therapy, facials, pedicures, aromatherapy, and just about any treatment you can imagine performed by the best therapists in the region.  In addition to the treatment rooms the Spa offers an incredible shop where they offer the latest and greatest lotions and potions that will keep you energized, soft, and smelling as good as you look.
