2013 U.S. Alpine Championships at Squaw Valley

The Nature Valley U.S. Alpine National Championships will return to Squaw Valley for five days of elite ski racing.  Over 250 national club athletes compete against the U.S. National Team to identify both a National Champion and tomorrow’s talent.  World Championship medalists Ted Ligety (Park City, UT), Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) and Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) will battle for national titles March 20-24 when the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships return to Squaw Valley. The event will be the region’s chance to see America’s top skiers compete alongside the best U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association club athletes on U.S. soil as they gear up for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

12:00 p.m. – Men’s slalom, second run
2:00 p.m. – U.S. Ski Team Pro/Am Race – Julia’s Gold
2:00 p.m. – Awards and Music – KT’s Deck

Sunday, March 24
9:00 a.m. – Women’s slalom, first run
12:00 p.m. – Women’s slalom, second run
2:00 p.m. – Awards and Music – KT’s Deck

The event will be featured in a 1-hour broadcast on NBC airing on March 24th at 12:00pm (EST) and on NBC Sports.
