We discuss who should do the home and pest inspections, what electrician should check out sub-panel issues and whatever else comes up during an escrow. Not only do I offer referrals for these services but I also make myself available to meet with the inspectors, let the electrician into the house and help in any way that makes my clients purchase less stressful and more efficient.

When I meet with a seller to discuss listing their property for sale we want to figure out how to sell the property in the fastest time period and for the highest price possible. I always recommend having a pre-listing home inspection so that we can identify potential problems that can be easily corrected. Sellers will typically take on these inspections and repairs as correcting issues will help their home sell for top dollar by giving a buyer piece of mind that the house is in good repair. These inspections often lead to roofing, plumbing, electrical and minor handyman repairs. I’m able to give my clients solid referrals. I meet with the contractors, get bids and help oversee the agreed upon projects. Oftentimes I find myself recommending house cleaners, painters, interior designers and staging professionals, handymen, driveway sealing companies and landscapers. By helping oversee pre-listing projects, my listings stand out from the crowd. I help take stress off the seller’s shoulders and I help my client achieve the highest sale price possible.

During the escrow process, there are always buyer repair requests and I’m there to help my sellers with this process and see that the required repairs are completed. My contractor relationships help make this stressful process quick and cost effective. Additionally, the best part is that if the seller chooses, they never have to make special trips to Tahoe to meet with the handyman as I do it for them.
